Comprehensive Crisis Services
When an individual experiences a behavioral health crisis they may be at risk for severe instability and disruption in their daily functioning. This risk can be increased by several factors such as lack of natural support systems, isolation, or substance abuse disorder. Without therapeutic intervention the outcome of some behavioral health crisis can be an increased risk for homelessness, psychiatric hospitalization, unemployment, family discord and law enforcement involvement. Ignited Families Services is here to help with intensive outpatient community stabilization services for adults, adolescents, and children.
Our objectives are to prevent exacerbation of a mental health condition and prevent injury to the individuals or others. Our goal is to stabilize individuals experiencing acute crises in the community, where they reside and are comfortable. IFS provides treatment in the context of the least restrictive setting. We provide support through evidence-based interventions and care coordination through our Mobile Crisis Response and Community Stabilization programs.
Mobile Crisis Response
Mobile Crisis Response is an immediate response service provided up to 8 hours over a 72-hour period. This service is designed for children and adults struggling with acute crises of a psychiatric nature that may jeopardize their current community living situation, or which puts them at risk of psychiatric hospitalization. Individuals receive services in his or her environment such as home, work, or the community.
23-Hour Crisis Stabilization
23-Hour Crisis Stabilization provides a period of up to 23 hours in a community-based setting for crisis stabilization that provides assessment and stabilization interventions to individuals experiencing a behavioral health crisis. This service should be accessible 24/7 and is indicated for those situations wherein an individual is in an acute crisis and requires a safe environment for observation and assessment prior to determination of whether admission to an inpatient or residential crisis stabilization unit setting is necessary. This service allows for an opportunity for thorough assessment of crisis and psychosocial needs and supports throughout the full 23 hours of service to determine the best resources available for the individual to prevent unnecessary hospitalization.

Community stabilization provides continued stabilization to individuals transitioning from a high level
of care (i.e. hospitalization or residential placement) to a long term support services (i.e mental health skills building, substance use services, etc.).
